Domain Names
A domain name is your address on the Internet. It's what your clients and friends will use to access your web site or to contact you by email.
QiQ sell a variety of different domain names, each for two years. After two years, you can simply renew your domain again.
You do not have to purchase your domain through QiQ to use our hosting, but a QiQ domain is instantly activated and comes pre-configured and ready to use with your account so your up and working as soon as possible.

We can supply most types of domain name. The all inclusive price for two years use of the most popular types of domain are:
.au - $60.00
.com, .net, .org, .biz .org - $39.90

Domain Transfers
It makes sense to have your hosting and domain name with one supplier, but this is optional. The cost to transfer an existing domain with a supplier other than QiQ is:
.au - No charge
.com, .net, .org, .biz .org - $39.90 which includes extending the term of the domain by 12 months.

QiQ make no charge to transfer domains away from us.
Advanced users
If you need to configure your domain from time to time, such as change the DNS Settings, the MX records or IPS Tag, we can, in most instances, provide you with access to a control panel that will submit such changes to the domain registries in real time at no additional charge. Alternatively, contact us and we'll make the change for you.
